We stayed at Cwmwennol Country House for 5 days and it was an amazing experience! The staff, especially Vicki and Roy, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had a wide variety of menu choices and the food was outstanding. The sea view from our suite room with a balcony was breathtaking, and the Jacuzzi bath was so relaxing. We loved being able to watch badgers and foxes from the downstairs bar, it really connected us with nature. The hotel also provided cutlery and crockery for takeaways, which was a huge plus. The staff went above and beyond - Roy even picked up my morning paper each day. They also catered to the needs of the elderly and dogs, making everyone feel welcome. The tranquil and relaxed surroundings made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. We can't wait to return!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

Great breakfast options, ample choices to try something different each morning. Dog-friendly accommodation which was a huge plus for us. the location was ideal, with a short walk to the beach and easy access to explore the area.
Initial welcome could have been friendlier. the room had some cracks and was a bit shabby, and the bathroom seemed outdated.

The rooms were surprisingly spacious and I loved the four poster bed. The views from the French windows were absolutely stunning, especially at bedtime. Plus, the whirlpool bath was a nice touch. The staff went above and beyond by preparing an early breakfast for us before our cycling event.
The exterior of the hotel definitely needs some TLC, it didn't improve once we stepped inside. Although the room was nice, the bed was too soft for my liking and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

The location of the hotel is convenient, with a 10-minute walk to Saundersfoot town center or a lovely walk through the woods. the rooms are spacious and some even have balconies, providing a nice view. Guests have praised the staff for being helpful and pleasant, ensuring a pleasant stay. the breakfast options are varied and delicious, with cooked breakfasts and fresh fruit choices. the hotel is pet-friendly, allowing guests to bring their furry friends along.
The room decor may seem dated to some guests, although this doesn't greatly affect their overall experience.

Although the hotel was dog-friendly, there was a noticeable smell of dogs in the corridor leading to my room. As someone with allergies, this was a bit uncomfortable for me and I had to take extra medication.
